Biography

In 2021, joined with Preston Smith to become just the second linebacker duo in team history (since 1982) to both register nine-plus sacks in the same season (Preston Smith and Za'Darius Smith in 2019).
Led the team with 28 QB hits (No. 7 in the NFL) in 2021 and finished No. 5 among NFL LBs with 53 QB pressures according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
In the 2021 NFC Divisional Playoff vs. San Francisco, became the 13th Packer to record two-plus sacks (two) in a postseason game since 1982.
Finished No. 2 on the team with five sacks and tied for No. 2 on the team with 11 QB hits in 2020. Also appeared in both postseason contests, finishing with 1½ sacks (No. 2 on the team) and three QB hits (tied for No. 1 on the team).

Seattle (Nov. 14): Saw action on 35 defensive snaps before an elbow injury ended his day in the fourth quarter. Posted three tackles (all solo), a sack, a tackle for a loss and a QB hit. In the second quarter, on third-and-5 from the GB 41-yard line, sacked QB Russell Wilson for a loss of 7 yards, forcing a punt... At Minnesota (Nov. 21): Inactive (elbow). Marked only the second missed game of his career (Week 4, 2020, ankle)... Vs. L.A. Rams (Nov. 28): Posted three tackles (two solo), a sack/forced fumble and two QB hits. Late in the second quarter, forced a fumble by QB Matthew Stafford on a sack that was recovered by LB Preston Smith and returned 5 yards to the LAR 7-yard line. Green Bay scored a TD three plays later to take a 7-0 lead... Vs. Chicago (Dec. 12): Tallied three tackles) one solo and recovered a fumble the LB Preson Smith forced on QB Justin Fields to give GB the ball at the CHI 23-yard line. The Packers scored on the next play to take an eight-point lead with just over eight minutes left in the third quarter... At Baltimore (Dec. 19): Finished with two tackles (one solo) and a tackle for a loss, taking down RB Latavius Murray for a loss of 2 yards in the first quarter... Vs. Cleveland (Dec. 25): Finished with three tackles (all solo) and led the team in sacks (two, tied career best), QB hits (three) and tackles for a loss (two). Sacked QB Baker Mayfield late in the first quarter for a loss of 9 yards and after an incompletion on the next play, Mayfield was intercepted by CB Chandon Sullivan on third-and-19. Late in the third quarter, sacked Mayfield for a loss of 11 yards on third-and-5, forcing a fourth-and-16 and a field goal... Vs. Minnesota (Jan. 2): Finished with two tackles (both solo), a sack, two tackles for a loss and a game-best four QB hits. At Detroit (Jan. 9): Played on 26 of 59 defensive snaps and posted two tackles (both solo)... Vs. 2020 SEASON: Saw action in 15 games with four starts, registering 35 tackles (19 solo), 11 QB hits (tied for No. 2 on the team), five sacks (No. 2 on the team), five tackles for a loss and a fumble recovery...Missed Week 4 with an ankle injury...Played in both postseason contests, posting five tackles (three solo), 1½ sacks, a tackle for a loss and three QB hits (tied for the team lead)...At Minnesota (Sept. 13): Posted two tackles (one solo) and two QB hits while playing 32 snaps on defense. Hit QB Kirk Cousins late in the second quarter and with just under 10 minutes to go in the fourth quarter, with both plays resulting in incompletions...Vs. Detroit (Sept. 20): Recorded four tackles (two solo), a career-high 1½ sacks, a tackle for a loss and was tied for the team lead with two QB hits. In the third quarter, pressured QB Matthew Stafford on a play that resulted in an interception returned 7 yards for a TD. Sacked Stafford in the fourth quarter to force a third-and-30 the Lions did not convert and Detroit punted on fourth down. With just over three minutes to play in the game, split a sack of Stafford with LB Preston Smith to force a fourth-and-16 the Lions did not convert...At San Francisco (Nov. 5): Registered two tackles (one solo) on 24 defensive snaps. Early in the fourth quarter, brought down WR Richie James after a 9-yard gain on third-and-10 at the GB 5-yard line and then teamed with LB Ty Summers to stop QB Nick Mullens for no gain on fourth-and-1...Vs. Jacksonville (Nov. 15): Recorded two tackles (both solo), a tackle for a loss, a QB hit and a sack. With just over a minute and a half to play in the game and GB up by four and JAX at the GB 36-yard line, sacked QB Jake Luton for a loss of 6 yards to force a third-and-16 on a drive that saw the Jaguars turn the ball over on downs two plays later...At Indianapolis (Nov. 22): Played on 35 defensive snaps, finishing with three tackles (two solo), a QB hit and a pass defensed. In the second quarter, hit QB Philip Rivers right after he threw a pass that was tipped by DL Billy Winn and picked off by LB Christian Kirksey, giving the Packers the ball at the Colts' 29-yard line...Vs. Philadelphia (Dec. 6): Started and played 36 defensive snaps, recording four tackles (two solo), 1½ sacks (tied career high), a tackle for a loss and a QB hit...At Detroit (Dec. 13): Played 19 snaps on defense and finished with one tackle (solo), a sack, a tackle for a loss and a QB hit. Brought Stafford down on third-and-18 to force a punt in the second quarter, giving him 2½ sacks in two games against Detroit on the season...At Chicago (Jan. 3): Matched his career high with six tackles (three solo), a tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery. In the second quarter, recovered a TE Cole Kmet fumble forced by CB Jaire Alexander, giving GB the ball at the Bears' 22-yard line. The ensuing drive resulted in a TD to put the Packers up, 21-10...Vs. L.A. Rams (NFC Divisional, Jan. 16): Saw time on 33 defensive snaps, recording three tackles (two solo), a playoff career-high 1½ sacks, a tackle for a loss and three QB hits. Teamed with DL Kenny Clark to sack QB Jared Goff for a loss of 9 yards to force a punt in the third quarter. With just under five minutes left in the game, sacked Goff for a loss of 4 yards on fourth-and-13.

2019: Played in all 16 games and posted 30 tackles (14 solo), two sacks, three tackles for a loss, a fumble recovery, seven QB hits and 19 QB pressures (No. 5 on the team)…Played in both playoff contests and registered two tackles (both assisted) and a QB pressure…Vs. Denver (Sept. 22): Played 26 snaps and registered a career-high six tackles (one solo), a sack, a fumble recovery, two QB pressures and a QB hit. Posted his first fumble recovery as a pro when he recovered QB Joe Flacco's fumble forced on LB Preston Smith's sack, giving Green Bay the ball at the Denver 5 to set up a TD. Late in the fourth quarter, shed a block by RT Elijah Wilkinson to bring down Flacco for a 7-yard loss, the first sack of his career…At Dallas (Oct. 6): Posted four tackles (two solo) and two QB pressures…Vs. Oakland (Oct. 20): Played 18 snaps on defense, recording four tackles (one solo) and two QB pressures…At N.Y. Giants (Dec. 1): Recorded a solo tackle, a QB hit and a QB pressure…Vs. Washington (Dec. 8): Played 13 snaps on defense and posted three tackles (all solo) and a QB hit, including a tackle for a loss in the second quarter of RB Adrian Peterson (3-yard loss) after LB Za'Darius Smith forced a Peterson fumble…Vs. Chicago (Dec. 15): Appeared on 18 plays on defense and posted three tackles (all solo), a sack, two QB pressures and a QB hit. Late in the second quarter, fought off a block from RT Cornelius Lucas III to get to QB Mitchell Trubisky for a 6-yard sack…At Minnesota (Dec. 23): Played 15 snaps on defense and registered two tackles (both assisted), two QB pressures and a QB hit…Vs.
