Biography
The Green Bay Packers signed CB Benjie Franklin to the practice squad on Sept. 1, 2022.
Franklin (6-0, 172), a rookie out of Tarleton State, was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars on May 5 before being released on Aug. 29. He played two seasons at Navarro Junior College before transferring to Tarleton State. In three years as a Texan, Franklin registered 103 tackles (83 solo), eight interceptions (two returned for TDs), 27 passes defensed, a fumble recovery and two blocked kicks.
