Biography

  • Played in all 17 games as a rookie, posting 23 tackles (14 solo), a sack, two QB hits and a blocked FG.
  • Played in 45 games with 14 starts in four seasons at Florida (2017-20), recording 98 tackles (34 solo), 3½ sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, nine QB hurries, a pass defensed and a fumble recovery.
  • Started all 12 games at defensive tackle for the Gators in 2020, recording a career-high 37 tackles (13 solo), 3½ tackles for a loss, 1½ sacks and five QB hurries.
  • Appeared in 12 contests as a junior in 2019, posting 29 tackles (12 solo) and career highs in tackles for a loss (four) and sacks (two).
  • Selected by the Packers in the fifth round (No. 173 overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft, the first defensive lineman drafted out of the University of Florida in franchise history.
  • Was selected to the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl as an offensive lineman following his senior season at American Heritage School (Plantation, Fla.), where he was coached by former NFL cornerback Patrick Surtain Sr.
  • Earned first-team all-county recognition at right tackle as a senior in 2016 and helped the Patriots win FHSAA 5A state titles in 2014 and 2016.
